Even behind bars, Senator Leila de Lima continues the fight. This is her reaction after hearing President Rodrigo Duterte’s tirade against her concerning taking up her alleged sex video to divert the issue away from himself.
The issue draws a lot of reactions from Netizens:

Your comm rep did squat as Marcos was reinstated. Really, from 1.3K addicts killed before Delima was jailed to 20K+ now. It is also only now that whistleblowers are made the criminals. You only made Duterte untouchable. Worst senate ever. Utterly useless.

During a speech in Iloilo on June 20, Duterte threatened to release footage of De Lima’s supposed sex scandal, after the senator criticized his act of kissing a Filipino woman during his official visit to South Korea.
The President said: “There’s a lady. Nakakulong. Sabi niya bastos daw yung ginawa ko,” the President said in a speech in Iloilo.”
You forget conveniently that you started the most, pinakabastos na magawa ng isang senador,” Duterte added.
For De Lima, the President is trying to weigh her down in an attempt to save himself from the supposed backlash of his decision to drag the Philippines out of the International Criminal Court (ICC) based the Rome Statute.
She recently asked the Supreme Court (SC) to allow her to appear and represent herself at the oral arguments for the legal challenge to Duterte’s move to withdraw the from the ICC.
De Lima, a staunch Duterte critic and a firm supporter of the #BabaeAko movement said the President appears to be afraid of a woman.
“Bakit siya takot na takot sa isang babae?” she asked in her dispatch.
Calling President Duterte disrespectful and a coward, the senator said: “How do we deal with a madman, a morally depraved and demonic creature?”
Senator De Lima has been detained since February 2017 for allegedly conspiring with drug lords at the New Bilibid Prison when she was still Justice secretary in exchange for millions of pesos for her senatorial campaign kitty.
